Walking into this place feels like stepping into a hidden gem that everyone should know about. The moment you enter, the aroma of fresh herbs, sizzling wok dishes, and slow-simmered broths wraps around you like a warm welcome. Every dish here tastes like it was made by someone who genuinely cares about flavor, balance, and tradition. Also the cleanest restaurant on the west side hands down. The most cold crisp clean drinking water. Not a spec of dust anywhere. Im impressed with the quality and service.

Soup and Rolls is a tiny family-run spot with a husband, wife, and their little kid creating the kind of warm atmosphere that instantly feels like home. You can feel the care the moment you walk in. If you’re looking for comforting, honest food, this place delivers. Their pho is easily one of the best around—rich, flavorful, and exactly what you want in a good bowl. The vermicelli is another must-try, fresh and packed with flavor. This is the kind of place you try once and end up coming back to again and again. Great food, kind people, and that homemade touch that’s hard to find. Love it, and I’ll definitely be back.

Amazing family owned and family run Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of the west side. Ordered the brisket & meatballs pho, fried rolls and the bbq chicken shrimp vermicelli. All was flavorful, fresh and delicious. Recommend to come eat as it’s close to downtown, close to OLLU, St. Mary’s and Bandera/Culebra area.

This place is fantastic. Family owned. Authentic Vietnamese food. Shrimp tempura is crispy and tasty.($7.99 for 6) Worth it. Shrimp fried rice ($10.95) the bomb. We would have ordered two if we had enough stomach space. The chicken lemongrass was tasty ($12.95)w/ rice, egg roll, & soup. We had hot & sour. Vietnamese fresh spring rolls were very fresh and flavorful.($5.99 for 2) Do order them . Fried spring rolls were delicious but were a bit smaller than expected.($7.99 for 8 pieces) w/ lettuce and cilantro. Last visit we also had shrimp vegetables ($11.95) very good.All-n- all a wonderful experience. It beats out our old Vietnamese food fave on Broadway and Natalen. Hands down our new favorite. We will be returning frequently.

Really impressed with this spot. The flavors were on point and tasted truly authentic. I appreciate that they ask for your preferred spice level, that attention to detail shows they care about doing it right. The balance in the curry was excellent: rich, well-seasoned, and layered without being overwhelming. Easily one of the best Asian curries I’ve had in San Antonio. The sweet tea was solid too. Service was fast, friendly, and very welcoming. The staff made the experience feel comfortable from start to finish. Definitely coming back.
